Customized Couples' Classes
For those who like a more
“hands-on” approach to gifts for their loved
ones, Heartfire Massage offers Customized
Couples' Classes! Due to the customization
of each class for the participants, prices vary.
On average, sessions last 3-4 hours and range
from $300-500. Please inquire for details.

Items covered in
classes include:

how to set up a massage table and judge the
proper height
-
getting into a good stance; how to use your
body weight and not just your hands

types
of lotions and/or oil and the best way to
use them
-
draping and bolstering
-
basic massage strokes and pressure
-
more customized massage techniques for your
partner's specific needs
Please note, the
term “couples” does not necessarily refer a
romantically established pair. As touch is one
of our most primal needs, and classes are
customized according to client desires, the
following are examples of those who may benefit:

two friends may attend in order to surprise
their sweethearts
-
parents with a child who is calmed by touch
(such as those on the autistic spectrum)

an adult with a parent who has been affected
by a stroke
Classes can be held
either in an in-office or outcall basis. If
clients do not have a massage table of their
own, Heartfire Massage can provide assistance in
procuring one.
