Intercostal/Diaphragm Release
Most of us never think about it, but our
diaphragm and the muscles between our ribs are
constantly at work to help us breathe. Like any
other muscles in our body, these can get tight
and knotted. Even if you are not experiencing
any specific symptoms, it is wonderful to have
your chest and breath opened up. Every time I
get this sort of work done, I feel like I can
run for miles—and I'm not a runner.
This work is particularly
useful for Colorado visitors suffering from
altitude sickness, asthmatics, athletes
(especially right before a competition!),
singers, folks suffering from COPD or allergies
. . . or anyone else who wants to breathe
well.
