Subscapularis Release
The subscapularis, one of the four rotator
cuff muscles in the shoulder, is the only one
that rotates the arm medially (forward and in).
It is also the most commonly injured rotator
cuff muscle, particularly as a result from falls
and impact. It is not an especially “fun” muscle
to work, but clients usually find the increase
in range of motion and relief from pain an
acceptable trade-off.
