I know, how unusual.
But as you know, me-being-quiet generally falls into two categories: not a whole lot going on, or a hella lot going on.
Betcha can guess which one it is. *grin*
(Seriously. I started this email two weeks ago. *headdesk*)

Hokay. First things first.
After changing online booking systems this winter, I discovered in early May that the new system I'd carefully researched and implemented really truly wouldn't do one of the things I needed it to do (abbreviated version: generate certain types of reports for me). Ergo, most of my mud season and part of the summer was spent overhauling the old system and installing a new one.
Good times, good times. Right up there with someone tweezing your eyebrows to death. Ugh.
We've had the new system for a month and a half now, and I think we're solid. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the learning process - we all appreciate your patience!

As part of a busy summer, Heather is taking a bit of a sabbatical and is not on the regular schedule. She is still available for requests, though, so if she's your gal and you want in, let us know!
However, with Heather taking a bit of a break, that left me with the opportunity to bring on a new therapist. As such, we welcome Krissy to the posse! You can read more about her here.

As part of bringing Krissy on, we've altered our rate structure. Krissy is an ah-MA-zing relaxation therapist, but as a fairly recent graduate, she doesn't have the experience or training to deal with some of y'all's physical issues. (You know who you are!) Similarly, I've only raised my prices once in the last several years, and the time has come due.
The solution? Tiered pricing.
Some of you have seen it online already, but if you haven't, I invite you to take a look. For those who don't want to mess around with opening another tab, lemme give you a quick rundown (be sure to read all the way to the end!):
Chelsea and Rachel have the training and experience to be considered Senior therapists. Their prices are not changing: $80 for an hour, $125 for an hour and a half.
Krissy, as a newer therapist, is under the Associate level. Her rates are $10 less per hour, bringing her to $70 and hour and $115 for an hour and a half.
As for myself, my rates are going up $10/hr. I am planning on opening up a couple of slots for one-hour appointments, but most of my sessions will remain at the hour and a half or two-hour length, due to the type of work I do. Existing clients will be grandfathered in at my present Senior therapist rate until December 1st, 2017. You can enter the coupon CurrentClient when booking and I'll adjust the remainder of the session price at the end of your appointment.
Packages are available at all three levels, but cannot be split across tiers. The only exceptions are packages currently in play. Packages purchased before December 1st at the Senior level by clients already in my database will also be honored at the Master level until the package is completed.
Hint: this will also be the case for packages purchased on sale as part of my client appreciation party, which will likely take place in October this year.
(Toldja it was worth reading to the end!)

Since I've already given you a heads-up about the upcoming client appreciation party, I might as well let you in on a few more activities happening here at Heartfire Massage.
Chelsea, lucky thing that she is, will be going on a rafting trip down the Green River through Desolation Canyon in early August. She'll be gone from August 2-13, and I am so jealous I could damn near spit.
Rachel has some fun times lined up for herself next month, too. She'll be traveling cross-country to Oregon for the big eclipse festival happening out there (if you didn't know there was a big eclipse festival in Oregon next month, consider this your teachable moment for the day). She will be in absentia from August 14-29.
So, between the two, we'll be down a therapist for pretty much all of August. As such, I highly recommend booking your sessions with them sooner rather than later! Krissy will also be around during the entirety of that time, and I don't have any plans to be out of town . . . but you never know!
Of course, there's always stuff going on here, but I figure I ought to quit while I'm ahead and send this out to you guys asap.
