Eight years ago, when I first went out on my own, it was in the middle of the recession. We couldn't afford propane for a month and a half in the middle of winter, and wound up hitting up the food pantry at Lift Up. It was an incredibly difficult thing to do.
I'd like to start giving back, and the holidays are a perfect time to do so. For each item of non-perishable food y'all bring in between now and Dec 22, your name will be entered in a drawing for a holiday gift basket.

Speaking of holidays and gifts, we are introducing three new holiday services this year - PLUS three coordinating holiday gift bag options for those who want a little something more for under the tree. We have an athletic package, a relaxation package, and a couples package. You can read more about them here.
Due to supplies, availability is limited for these packages, so get 'em while the getting is good! Because wine can't solve everything.
The best part about all this? We have online gift certificates available! Yes, you can go shopping without having to put on pants! LIFE IS NOW COMPLETE! MUAHAHAHAHA!
Sorry . . . I get a little carried away there.
Gift certificates are available either for a specific holiday package or a choose-your-own dollar amount. You can have them emailed to the recipient or have them printed out. If you need to pay by cash or check - or want something a little fancier - we can help you out at the office.

As all good locals know, the winter season in Steamboat officially kicks off Opening Day. Chelsea will be abandoning us for her family, but I will be around.
However, we will be CLOSED on Thanksgiving. Unless you're willing to bribe me. A LOT. Because I really, really like food.
But! I will be open again on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. My schedule is already full, but if you want to pick up some gift certificates, I'll be around from 10-5:30 or so.
We'll be closed on Sunday, but Chelsea will be back in the office on Cyber Monday. I promise I will not let (make) her dress up like a robot, no matter how much fun it sounds like. In keeping with the Cyber Monday theme, gift certificates will only be available online this day.

Looking a little further ahead, we're starting to get appointment requests for the last two weeks in December. If you know you're going to be in town and want to book a session for yourself or a loved one, I highly suggest scheduling your appointment now. There are only so many of the coveted post-skiing Golden Hour appointments available, after all!
And if you really want to make your Christmas something to remember, I will be available on December 24th on an outcall-only basis, and a minimum of two appointments must be booked. Online scheduling is not available for this option, so if you are interested, please contact me directly.
There is turkey to be eaten, mulled wine to be drunken, and loved ones to gather with.
And pie. Let us not forget the pie.
