Let me essplain . . . no, is too much.  Let me sum up.

There's a lot going on this month, so you get the ultra-condensed Reader's Digest version today.

Calling all members of Team Heartfire
First and foremost, just as a heads-up, Steamboat's annual Best of the Boat competition starts this month.  I'll be sending out another email about it soon, but I wanted to give you guys a heads-up.  A lot of folks have been asking me when the voting takes place, and the answer is December 15 - January 15.

Assuming everyone freaking out about the ancient Aztecs and the end of the world is wrong, of course.  If not . . . well, I guess it ends on the 21st.

Okay, I did it.  I finally went and put myself up on Yelp.  (For those who aren't familiar with it, Yelp is an online review system.)

If you'd like to leave me a review, you can do so by going here.

They do require you to have an account, but signing up is quick and painless.  And I'd be ever so grateful.  Especially if the review is good.  :)

Gift certificates available
You can get 'em in person, over the phone, or online.

I know quite a few of you guys have spouses or friends who have been making noise about wanting to make massage a regular part of their lives.  A gift certificate is a great way to help them take that next step.  Even if they're not looking for regular bodywork, massage is the perfect no-calorie, non-cluttering, one-size-fits-all present.

This year, give the gift of wellness!

Speaking of gifties . . .
I have to get the paperwork squared away, but I'll be offering retail for the holiday season.  I'll be starting off with some of Little Moon's products, including their awesome Dream Cream!  I'll also be carrying Khepra's yummy foot lotion--those of you who came to the client appreciation party, that was the sample bottle I included in your gift bags.

Anything else you'd like to see me offer?   Let me know!

For those of you with guests coming into town
The co-op that I'm part of, the Steamboat Independent Spa, can handle large groups.  We've got it all:  massage, facials, manicures & pedicures, even a stylist who can do haircuts and color.
Need everyone out of the house for a little bit?

Bring 'em here!
Have a visitor who doesn't ski and whom you don't know what to do with?
Get him or her a spa day!
Need some time to yourself because everyone's driving you crazy?
Come hang out with us!

Man, talk about a win-win situation. :)

And now, a note from our sponsor . . .
Technically, this is a note for our sponsor(s):  you guys.

As high season approaches, I've had a lot of me regulars say things like "I don't want to bother you during your busy time."

Let me make this perfectly clear:  you are not bothering me.
I'm not gonna lie:  having visitors come through is awesome.  I love meeting new people and getting to know your our-of-town friends and relatives.  Many of them become return clients, stopping in to see me whenever they're in town.

But this does not mean I don't want to see the rest of you guys.  If you need me, call.  If you've gotten hurt on the mountain, have a wicked migraine, or are just so overwhelmed you could cry--come in and see me.  I may not be able to help you that day, but I'll do my best.  And if I just can't, I'm happy to refer you to someone who may have a little more flexibility in their schedule.

That's a wrap!
Last month, I talked about the sumptuous new body treatment I'm offering:  the Ahtna River Glacier Wrap.  I stated that the first three people to sign up for it would receive it at half price.  I have ONE more opening at that price available between now and December 20.

Want it?  Come get it!  Feedback is that it's pretty damn drool-inducing.  Y'know, in a good way.

When not doing massage, Erica can often be found doing yoga, chasing goats, or puttering in the kitchen.  On occasion, these activities have been known to overlap.
