Chelsea
Senior Therapist

Chelsea graduated with honors in 2011 from the Institute of Business and Medical Careers, receiving a degree in Occupational Studies of Allied Health and Therapeutic Massage. A born-and-raised Colorado girl, she grew up in Fort Collins before relocating to the Yampa Valley soon after graduating massage school.
Chelsea credits her mother with persuading her to go to massage school, correctly deducing that it would be a good fit with Chelsea's compassion and nurturing spirit. Once in school, Chelsea realized she had found a career that would utilize her talents and that she could pursue with passion and integrity. Her style of massage combines deep tissue with relaxation and breathing techniques to help clients "drop in" to the session.

Outside of work, Chelsea has many other interests. She enjoys the typical "mountain life" activities, such as skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, yoga, mountain biking, or just a relaxing float down the Yampa River. Chelsea is quite the foodie and loves creating delicious, healthy meals from as many locally sourced products as possible--including getting her hands in the dirt and being a direct part of the process by growing her own food. Her favorite pastime is spending time with her beloved partner Derek and their cherished dog, Kiva. In particular, they enjoy taking family road trips revolving around mountain biking, breweries, camping, nature scenery, and food exploration.
Chelsea is also an avid tap dancer and cheerfully admits she is a tad obsessed about garage sales.
