Heather

Heather has always known she needed to find a career that allowed her to actively help others, in a direct and tangible way. After doing some light massage and getting rave reviews while in an essential oils class at the School of Natural Medicine in Boulder, Colorado, Heather decided she needed to pursue a career in massage therapy. She enrolled in the Colorado School of Healing Arts and graduated two years later with an Associate’s Degree in Massage Therapy. Her specialty areas include Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy and Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
Heather describes her style as integrative and completely client-centered, with a focus on relieving pain, while bringing peace and balance to the nervous system. She achieves this through slow, intentional bodywork; by working within her client’s limits, Heather allows the body to remain relaxed while still achieving therapeutic results.
Heather has a passion for adventure and discovery, both in her outer and inner worlds. She loves to travel and has lived in Spain, Australia, and New Zealand teaching English as a second language. In terms of exploring her inner world, Heather enjoys creating art (especially jewelry), meditation, and yoga. She moved to Colorado 4 years ago after getting married to her husband, James. They enjoy cooking, listening to music, and going around the ‘Boat with their two dogs, Stella and Doobs.
