Rachel

Rachel graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts with an Associates Degree in Massage Therapy, with specialty focus in Craniosacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, and Trauma Touch Therapy. Rachel's bodywork focuses on effective deep tissue for chronic pain relief through the use of hot & cool stones. She has completed extensive one-on-one training with the stones and offers a unique & rare form of therapy that combines hot basalt & cool marble, allowing space to go deeper into the tissues while still having a relaxing effect. We highly recommend upgrading your session with Rachel by adding stones to your treatment--you won't be disappointed!
Growing up in Michigan on the shores of Lake Superior, Rachel has enjoyed a passion for connecting with nature for most of her life. She spent seven years as a kayaking guide and instructor in beautiful Copper Harbor, MI. It was there that she got hooked on mountain biking and skiing, which eventually led to her relocation to Colorado. After two years in Denver, Rachel moved to Steamboat Springs in November 2015. Her free time now consists of all the outdoor activities the 'boat has to offer, as well as crafting chainmail jewelry and cooking creative plant-based meals. She has discovered a deep commitment to daily yoga practice, and plans to pursue her yoga teacher training so that she may offer the next level of self-care guidance to her clientele.
