Gettin' Schooled

Education
I had the good fortune to attend the Colorado School of Healing Arts, graduating in 2005. In that time span, I TA’d multiple classes, spent several months interning as an MT for a wellness center in a hospital, and participated in over a dozen volunteer events. I regularly take continuing education classes, ranging from reflexology and hydrotherapy to orthopedic techniques for neck pain.

Training
One of my greatest levels of education has been in the field. All through school, teachers kept telling me that the best way to get really good at massage was to get my hands on as many different bodies as possible. As a result, I chose to start my career in the spa industry in a ski town. In that time, I have seen clients with needs ranging from straightforward relaxation to physical and emotional trauma to injury recovery. My work environments have ranged from high-end spas to hospital rooms, and every single session has taught me something new.
